Sponsored by the French bank Caisse d'Epargne, the team and its high profile riders look to be genuine contenders on the Pro Cycling Tour after a successful 2007. The team won the overall team standings in the Vuelta a España, claimed second place in the Tour de France and seventh in the Giro d'Italia.
