With an unprecedented and unrepeated treble of wins in the Amstel Gold Race, La Flèche Wallonne and Liège-Bastogne-Liège, the German Gerolsteiner Team, sponsored by the mineral water company Gerolsteiner Brunnen and the cycle manufacturer Specialized, is looking to add to its recent successes.  Following a formidable first full year on the ProTour in 2006, the team finished sixteenth at the Tour de France, nineteenth at the Giro d'Italia and fifteenth at the Vuelta a España.
